U nás se podobné konstrukce objevují až na konci 18. století v souvislosti s účastí francouzských fortifikačních inženýrů při stavbě terezínské pevnosti. Díky své úsporné podobě s vynechanými hambalky se později osvědčily i na zámeckých stavbách česko-moravského pomezí a v době okolo poloviny 19. století patřily zejména v okolí Dačic, Jemnice a Slavonic k vůbec nejužívanějším tesařským vazbám staveb ve venkovském prostředí. Description in English The roofs with full principles, joined in the apex were used in Western Europe (UK, France) from the medieval times. Within the Czech lands they appear not before the end of the 18th century probably in connection with the participation of French engineers in the construction of Terezin Fortress. Thanks to their efficient form omitting the collars they were favoured in transformations of several chateaux along the Czech-Moravian border and at about half of the 19th century the most widely used for vernacular structures especially in the surroundings of the towns Dačice, Jemnice and Slavonice.
