    AnnotationEDTA-insoluble proteins in the chicken eggshell were identified. The protein profile differs significantly between the three layers cuticle, pallisade, and mammillary. The total number of proteins was 28, with seven proteins in the cuticle, 16 in the pallisade layer, and 23 in the mammillary layer
