Here, we mimicked aglycemia and hypoxia in vitro and compared the mitochondrial and cellular bioenergetic adaptation of human breast cancer (HTB-126) and non-cancer (HTB-125) cells that originate from breast tissue. The data demonstrate that cancer cells behave differently than normal cells when adapting their bioenergetics to microenviromental conditions Workplace Institute of Physiology Contact Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Year of Publishing 2011
