Such systems may be used to suppress unfavourable side effects of the carried drugs by their preferential targeted delivery to the tissues of interest, to prolong drug blood circulation times etc. This chapter reviews the principles, approaches, achievements and challenges in the field of stimuli responsive polymeric micellar drug delivery systems.
