Description in English The author argues that descriptive identification can serve as a straightforward and satisfactory reply to questions like "what", "who", "which one" and that its eventual insufficiency is contextual: it results from the specific cognitive and communicative tasks we are trying to solve rather than from the alleged identificatory weakness of descriptions.
