AnnotationThe possibility of electric field induced phase transitions in soft matter systems was studied by means of small-angle X-ray (SAXS) and neutron (SANS) scattering. We have shown experimentally that electric field can induce phase transitions and change internal organization of soft matter systems. A reversible, cubic to hexagonal structure rearrangement was established by the application of an electric field strength ca 1.25 kV/mm in PS-b-PEP/Cyclohexane/Dimethylformamide ternary mixture.
