AnnotationThe real-time radiography permits studying component behaviour under moderate loading and it is particularly suitable for timber structures since density differences must be present in order to detect individual components and features. Low density of wood permits using energy levels that are sufficiently low and do not require special safety measures. The focus of the paper is the possibilities in application of low-energy X-ray technology and this is demonstrated on several examples.
