Description in English The effect of air pollution on levels of markers of oxidative DNA damage, lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation is analyzed in bus drivers and controls in three seasons – winter 2005, summer and winter 2006. Exposure to particulate matter (PM2.5) was consistently correlated with increased oxidative stress markers; exposure to PAHs seems to play a minor role.
