Annotation	Studie sleduje průběh prací na vydávání korespondence Karla Jaromíra Erbena (1811-1870). Úvodní část je věnována přehledu snah o publikování dopisů českých literátů v druhé polovině 19. století a koordinační úloze České akademie pro vědy, slovesnost a umění (zal. 1890). Prvním editorem Erbenovy korespondence byl Josef Karásek (1868-1916), který navrhl dopisy tematicky a teritoriálně rozdělit podle odesílatelů. Zanechal po sobě rozsáhlý materiál. Dokončením edice byl akademií pověřen Jan Kabelík (1864-1928) a po něm Jiří Horák (1884-1975). Přípravy svazku pro Erbenovu korespondenci se Slovany se ujal Josef Jirásek (1884-1972). Po opakovaných pokusech se Jiráskovi teprve v 60. letech podařilo vydání tohoto svazku prosadit do edičního plánu Nakladatelství ČSAV. Jako spolueditorka mu byla určena Věnceslava Bechyňová (1920-2000). Jejich kniha "Slovanská korespondence Karla Jaromíra Erbena" (1971) zůstala dodnes jedinou částí z Erbenovy korespondence, která byla edičně realizována.
Description in English	The study focuses on the history of attempts to publish K. J. Erben’s correspondence. The opening part outlines the Czech Sciences and Arts Academy’s (est. 1890) efforts and coordinative function to publish letters of Czech literature authors. First editor was Josef Karásek (1868-1916), who proposed to sort out the letters according to the senders in respect to the subject matter and location. He left behind extensive material. J. Kabelík (1864-1928) followed by J. Horák (1884-1975) were appointed by the Academy to finish the editing. Josef Jirásek (1884-1972) took the initiative to arrange Erben’s correspondence with the Slavs for publishing. After several unsuccessful attempts Jirásek managed to put through the works into the publishing scheme of Nakladatelství ČSAV in 1960’s. Věnceslava Bechyňová (1920-2000) was appointed as the co-editor. Their book "Slovanská korespondence Karla Jaromíra Erbena" (1971) has up to now been the only edited part of Erben’s correspondence.
