Now they know that this warming is not caused by sun activity or any other natural climate factor, and are aware that urgent action to reduce global emissions of greenhouse gases is needed in order to prevent irreversible and dangerous changes of our planet. And they also know that significant changes in climate have already been observed that can be attributed solely to global warming. However, this article will also argue that we are unlikely to see a significant reduction in GHGs in the near future, in spite of the planetary emergency.
