AnnotationA chapter contains review on the beneficial effects of AM fungi in sustainable crop production. Understanding the multifarious activities of AM fungi on crops is likely to provide a prospective tool for sustainable crop production in different agro-ecosystems. Mycorrhizal growth effect is commonly established by performing reference trials targeted to optimalization of mycorrhizal inoculation for particular plant production systems in agriculture or horticulture.
