    AnnotationXanomeline binds reversibly to orthosteric binding site and irreversibly to another site of all subtypes of muscarinic receptors. In acute functional assays stimulates only M1/M4 subtypes. We demonstrated that irreversibly bound xanomeline also stimulates M2 receptors in cerebral cortex tissue
