We also analyzed human lung tumors and their surrounding healthy tissue from our pacients with adenocarcinoma. Results demonstrate that both the lung fetal and cancer cell lines produced their ATP predominantly by glycolysis, while oxidative phosphorylation was only capable of poor ATP delivery.
