AnnotationStať Efrema Jindráčka v kolektivní monografii se zabývá vývojem a vnitřní konfrontací euroamerické tomistické psychologie od 19. do 20. století.
Description in EnglishA panoramic study of thomistic psychology from its origins to the twentieth century, with a particular emphasis on differences of method (the literary commentary on Aristotle, on Peter Lombard, and the quaestiones). The major part is dedicated to Neothomism in the 19th and 20th centuries. Two currents or schools are distinguished in this period: th classical scholastic manuals in Latin (T. Pesch, T. M. Zigliara, J. Gredt) and the modern manuals of thomistic psychology written in modern languages (D. J. Mercier, M. Barbado, R. E. Brennan) with an accent on biology and clinical psychology.
