Annotation	Leptogenopapus mirabilis, gen. n., sp. n. is described based on the single male collected from foraging colony of Leptogenys breviceps Viehmeyer in Papua New Guinea. The list of all Staphylinidae associated with the ant genus Leptogenys Roger is given.
