    AnnotationWe have evaluated adhesion, growth and differentiation of various cell types on micropatterned surfaces prepared by plasma polymerization. Smooth muscle cells stems and skeletal muscle cells preferentially adhered and grew on hydrophilic domains made of acrylic acid compared to 1,7-octadiene. Acrylic acid domains supported differentiation of smooth muscle cells and endothelial cells
