AnnotationThe work is concentrated on electric resistivity of plasma sprayed tungsten-based cermets with zirconium carbide and its comparison with their analogs made pressure-assisted sintering. Coatings imply higher resistivity for the same quantity of the carbide admixture than corresponding sintered samples. This is associated with the layered character of the coating and the isotropic nature of the sintered sample. For both sample types the higher content of the carbide means higher resistivity.
