AnnotationFor COMPASS tokamak, a new 16-channel radiometry system was designed and manufactured. For the electron Bernstein waves (EBW) studies, namely the B-X-O type of conversion, in the case of the low magnetic field and overdense plasma, the Ka-band (26.5-40 GHz) can be used, for the detection of the emission from the fundamental ECE harmonic Alternatively the second harmonic E-band (60-73.5 / 76.5-90 GHz) will be used with the same 16-channel receiver for the conventional ECE temperature profile measurement. First measurements were devoted to the initial EBW studies
