AnnotationElectromagnetically driven flow of incompressible molten metal in a ceramic pipe is modeled. The mathematical model of this multiply coupled problem is solved by the higher-order finite element method (hp-FEM) using the code Hermes developed and written by the authors. The methodology and capabilities of the code are illustrated by a typical example whose results are discussed.
