    AnnotationPossible exchange of classical mechanical pumps used in cooling loops of nuclear reactors by pumps working on the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) principle is investigated. Operation of the MHD pumps is analyzed in two types of newly built nuclear reactors. The results are evaluated and discussed.
