AnnotationPumps of molten metals based on magnetohydrodynamic principle represent an advantageous alternative to classical rotational pumps used for cooling of some types of nuclear reactors. The paper deals with the mathematical and computer modeling of their operation. The theoretical analysis is illustrated by an example whose results are discussed.
