Description in English An extensive monography describes the coronation visit of the emperor Charles VI and his wife Elisabeth Christine in Bohemia 1723, their coronation ceremonies and other festivities held during the stay of the imperial court in Prague. Especial attention is paid to the interpretation of the festive opera Costanza e Fortezza, of commemorative medals, engravings with allegorical subject and other iconographical sources reflecting this event.
