Results thus obtained are correlated with structural observations recorded by diffraction of synchrotron radiation; those enable to assess (also in situ) the orientation of myosin-S1 subunits (molecular motors). This is important e.g. in certain cardiomyopathies whose molecular basis has not been satisfactorily understood yet Workplace Institute of Physiology Contact Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Year of Publishing 2010
