Der gegenwärtige Stand der Froschung brachte eine Umwertung der früheren Thesen und weist auf die deutlichen Unterschiede zwischen der Entwicklung in Böhmen auf einer und in dem Gebiet nördlich der mittleren Donau auf der anderen Seite. Sie sind charakterisiert durch einen relativen Mangel an germanischen Befunde aus dem beginnenden 1. Jahrhundert und durch die Verschiebung des Entwicklungsschwerpunktes von dem Böhmischen Becken in die Region nördlich von Carnuntum in den Jahren nach dem Fall der Marbods Herrschaft. Description in English The study is concentrated on cultural, ethnical and socio-political relations at the decline of Celtic and the beginning of Germanic era in Middle Europe, in the years of unstoppable advance of Rome to the Middle Danube. The present stage of research has brought about reappraisal of some former assumptions and has pointed on clear differences between the development in Bohemia on one and the region north to the Danube on other hand. They are characterized by the relatively lack on archaeological evidence of German origin at the same beginning of the 1st century A.D. in the Middle Danubian sphere and by the following shift away of the focus of development from the Bohemian basin into the area north to the Carnuntum after the fall of Marobodus rule.
