AnnotationExperimentální studie sledovala vliv gramatických jevů na porozumění slovům. Experiment využíval metodu monitorování slov: děti slyšely věty a měly za úkol reagovat na předem zadané slovo. Experiment sledoval vliv morfosyntaktických chyb a opakování gramatických struktur na reakční čas při monitorování slova.
Description in EnglishAn experiment investigated the effects of a morphosyntactic violation and syntactic priming on children’s sentence processing. Thirty four children (age 4;4 to 8;2) and nine adults were presented with sentence pairs and engaged in the word monitoring task. No effects of syntactic priming were found in the older group of children (6 and above) and in adults, while the violation led to an initial increase in reaction times after the error. The younger half of children showed a facilitation effect in the ungrammatical sentences; the effect of syntactic priming changed during the experiment, with an initial facilitation in the non-primed condition. The implications of the results for the understanding of grammatical development and syntactic priming phenomena are discussed.
