Nedlouho po r. 1200 se zde objevují usedlíci z dnešního Rakouska. Před r. 1231 Valoni ze severní Francie a dnešní Belgie a před r. 1243 se formuje právní město. Na základě vyhodnocení nejstarších nálezů z komunikací a náměstí lze soudit, že půdorys města se formuje již nedlouho po příchodu cizích osídlenců, což by naznačovalo vznik města nejpozději do 20. let 13. století. Description in English In the late phase of the development of the pre-urban agglomeration of Brno in 12th century expanded the settlement to the south part of the late town area. Not very long after 1200 came the new stream of inhabitants from Austria, before 1231 also Waloons from nothern France and today´s Belgium, and before 1243 founded the communal town. On the basis of the eldest finds in communications and squares mainly in the northern part of the town-area the town could be created not not very long after the arrival of the foreigners, maybe at the least in twenties of the 13th century.
