AnnotationThe article presents an analysis of heavy short-term precipitation for the warm part of the year in the Czech Republic. Precipitation data are prepared for the years 2002–2007 with a horizontal resolution of 1 km and a temporal resolution of 1 h. The basic result of the study shows that positions of precipitattion lasting from 1 to 3 hours do not depend on topografy.
