AnnotationThe idealised urban canopies were created by regular cuboids arranged with various building packing densities, roof heights distributions, and layout of the elements to study general laws of pollution dispersion in the real atmosphere. The flow and concentration of the passive tracer released from the ground level source were measured simultaneously with high temporal resolution. The comparison of those fluxes within 18 different arrangements of idealised urban canopies is shown and the importance of a proper determination of the turbulent fluxes at the edge of the plume and above the roof top level is emphasised.
