Annotation
This work demonstrates how the temperature distribution and glass melt patterns influence the sand particle dissolution from the melt. The new quantity is defined, entitled the space utilisation, which eveluates quantitatively the quality of glass flow structure. The beneficial flow patters are presented causing low energy consumption of the glass melting process.
