AnnotationUsing the constant current chronopotentiometric stripping analysis and mercury-containing electrodes a well-developed electrocatalytic peak is produced at negative potentials by practically all proteins at nanomolar concentrations. Electrochemistry of nucleic acids is a mature field, involving a number of applications in biotechnologies. Recently we proposed facile electroactive end-labeling of DNA, RNA and PNA with Os complexes.
