AnnotationResveratrol improves hepatotoxic markers and morphology after the hepatic insult. Among the mechanisms responsible for the hepatoprotective effects of resveratrol are reduction of NO production, downeregulation of nitric oxide synthese, madification of oxidative stress parameters and modulation of heme oxygenase-1.
