AnnotationCentral European inland vegetation dominated by Bolboschoenus species was newly classified, based on current knowledge of taxonomical differentiation of Bolboschoenus maritimus-complex. The freshwater associations inhabiting river shores and floodplains, fishponds and temporarily flooded field depressions were distinguishes as well as inland halophile plant communities. New alliance name was proposed for saline reed vegetation of continental areas.
