Our mesomechanical approach is rooted within the mesoscale description of the substructure of erythrocyte aggregates and their changes in the course of different time-dependent loading paths. Good agreement of the outcomes of our model with experimental findings received under complicated conditions corroborates the usefulness of this approach.
