AnnotationInfluence of chemical and physical atmospheric factors, minority components in particular, on transformations of carbon-chain polymers and stabilizers is outlined. The attention is concentrated on involvement of oxidizing impurities (active forms of oxygen and NOx) in the initiation step of photooxidation and depletion of the stabilizer activity and permanence during weathering.
