    AnnotationA spontaneous mutant of Methanothermobacter thermautotrophicus resistant to tributyltin chloride (TBT) was isolated. The synthesis of ATP driven by methanogenic electron transport was profoundly diminished and was resistant to TBT due to probable mutational substitutions in the A1A0-ATP synthase operon.
