AnnotationIn this work we have analysed inducibility of SOCS3 gene by interferon gamma in several human breast cancer lines and normal epithelial cells. We found that reduced inducibility of SOCS3 observed in most malignant cells was correlated with increased resistance to the cytotoxic effect of interferon gamma.
