    AnnotationAuthor's recent analysis of experiments for 11 different solids fractions suggested the solids transport formula of the MPM (Meyer-Peter and Müller) type for pressurized slurry pipes. In 2008, new experiments were carried out in IH ASCR with as an objective to extend the database for validation of the solids transport formula for solids fractions not adequately represented in the original database. The paper discusses the structure of the earlier proposed solids transport formula and the validity of the equation in the light of the new experimental results.
