    AnnotationWe identified over 80 proteins secreted from rat cardiac stem cells and neonatal myocytes by HPLC and mass spectrometry. Of those, 48.2% and 22.4% proteins were myocytes-specific and cardiac stem cells-specific, respectively. 10 proteins were selected as candidate paracrine/autocrine factors and their effects on cardiac stem cell proliferation were tested.
