    AnnotationGrowth of various phases of Sm-Ba-Cu-O thin films on Sm-211 whisker substrates was studied in-situ by means of a high-temperature optical microscope. Sm2Ba4Cu2Oy or two different phases of SmBa2Cu3Oy (Sm-123) with different crystallographic orientations were identified, in dependence on the growth temperature.
