Annotation	An upgrade of the ATLAS Pixel detector is considered simultaneously with ten fold increase of LHC luminosity. The Pixel detector will operate in much harsher radiation environment and also hit rate in innermost detector layers will be by two orders of magnitude higher. Options for new detector technologies, processes and geometries are explored
