Annotation	Tento mezioborový workshop se zabýval aplikacemi nanotechnologie ve fyzice, chemii, biologii a medicíně. Pozvali jsme na Fyziologický ústav několik předních odborníků z Německa, Rakouska, Polska i USA. Zúčastnili se i čeští odborníci, mladí vědci a studenti. Obsahem přednášek byly vlastnosti a uplatnění uhlíkových nanotub, fullerenů, nanodiamantů a nanokeramiky v různých oborech, zvláště v biotechnologiích a tkáňovém inženýrství
Description in English	The main topic of this interdisciplinary workshop was application of nanotechnology in physics, chemistry, biology and medicine. We invited to the Institute of Physiology several specialists from Germany, Austria, Poland and U.S.A. Also Czech specialists, young scientists and students took part in this workshop. The presentations were about the characterization and use of carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, nanodiamonds and nanoceramics in different fields, particularly biotechnologies and tissue engineering
