AnnotationThe book deals with the chipped lithic industries of the Moravian Bell Beaker culture (1100 artifacts from 142 localities). These objects were made from 28 kinds of stone raw materials (siliceous rocks dominate). The analysis suggests that people of the Bell Beaker culture, who came into Central Europe from the Pyrenean peninsula, brought with them only the production of arrowheads. In the new country the people of the Bell Beaker culture picked up and used the neolithic and eneolithic chipped stone artifacts. In the settlement area of Central Europe they enriched their production with new types of tools - segments and daggers.
