Článek přináší etnografický popis cyklu svatebních obřadů pozorovaných autorkou v minangkabauské vesnici Sulit Air v indonéské provincii Západní Sumatra. Zároveň poskytuje interpretaci toho, co pozorovaná praxe vypovídá o fungování sítí matrilineárního příbuzenství, které propojují translokální komunitu Sulit Air napříč prostředím vesnice a měst, jenž jsou cílovými místy ekonomické migrace podstatné části jejích obyvatel, obzvláště pak o některých ženských technikách udržování těchto sítí
Description in English
The article presents an ethnographic description of a cycle of marriage rituals as observed by the autor in the Minangkabau village Sulit Air, located in West Sumatra, Indonesia. It also provides an interpretation of what the observed practice tells us about the functioning of the networks of matrilineal kinship that crisscross the translocal commnunity of Sulit Air spanning from the village to the cities where its inhabitants migrate in search of economic betterment, especially some female techniques of their maintenance
