AnnotationSeven monoclonal antibodies – Hs-3, Hs-9, Hs-16, Hs-23, Hs-31, Hs-32, Hs-37 – to human seminal plasma proteins were established. These antibodies recognized apolipoprotein J (clusterin), semenogelin I, secretory actin-binding protein (SABP) and enolase I. Using the Hs-16 antibody increased expression of SABP was revealed in men with pathological spermiograms suggesting an association with fertility failure.
