AnnotationStable acyclic nucleoside diphosphate analogues bearing the (phosphonomethyl)phosphinyl moiety were prepared by alkylation of suitably protected heterocyclic bases by alcohols bearing the (phosphonomethyl)phosphinyl unit. Studies of phosphorylation reaction of diphosphonate derivatives showed that both phosphonate and phosphinate moiety react with CDI and tri-n-butylammonium phosphate to give mixture of linear and branched phosphate.
