Annotation	The in vitro metabolism of flupitrine and its metabolite D13223, a centrally acting analgesic with muscle tone-reducing activity, was studied. The metabolism of these drugs is connected with their redox chemistry. The redox behavior was studied by cyclic voltammetry and compare with the potential role of various oxidative enzymes.
