PCC7942 (i) The main Chl a emission band at ~684 nm that originates in photosystem (PS) II exhibits typi¬cal fast (OPS) and slow (SMT) FI. (ii) Similar kinetics are exhibited by its far-red emission satellite band centered at ~746 nm where the PS II contribution predomi¬nates. (iii) Comparatively low amplitude of OPS-SMT kinetics were observed for the far-red emission at ~710 nm that originates mostly from Chl a of PS I. (iv) A significant OPSMT kinetics, at 652 nm, were observed with the blue light excitation, but not with the orange light excitation Workplace Institute of Microbiology Contact Eliška Spurná, eliska.spurna@biomed.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 231 Year of Publishing 2009
