Description in English Review of an exhibition catalogue of the landscape painter Wilhelm Riedel who was a neglected figure of both Czech and German art history. The catalogue treats in detail the shifts in Riedel´s work and also touches on general questions regarding the position of his work in the development of 19th century landscape painting.
