Transfekcí buněčných linií fibroblastů s mutací v genu pro protein TMEM70 vektorem nesoucím gen pro wtTMEM70 bylo sledováno, zda-li tento protein dokáže doplnit defekty v ATP synthase. U transfekovaných linií došlo k nárůstu podjednotkového množství ATP synthasy, respirační i fosforylační aktivita ATP synthasy byla rovněž obnovena Description in English Mitochondrial diseases can be caused by defects in mitochondrial protein asembly factors. Transfection of cell lines with mutation in a gene for TMEM70 protein, using vector containing wtTMEM70, allow us to examine, whether the protein can supply defects in ATP synthase. In transfected lines, ATP synthase subunit composition was increased, respiratory and phosphorolytic activities of ATP synthase was also restored Workplace Institute of Physiology Contact Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Year of Publishing 2009
