AnnotationThe review paper summarizes discoveries made at the IBP in the field of protein electrochemistry during the last 4 years and published in 5 original papers. The method used e.g. for discriminating native and denatured proteins was constant current chronopotentiometry. - Some specialized proteins are capable to recognize characteristic DNA features, e.g. specific nucleotide sequences. It is a promising research area to study the DNA-protein interactions by electrochemical methods.
